Cheltenham Town Community Trust
Cheltenham Town Community Trust and Cheltenham Town FC have announced a fantastic milestone, generating more than £13.5 million in social value during 2025 – more than double the previous figure of £5.5 million. The impact spans education and employment, physical and mental health, wellbeing and wider community outcomes, highlighting the positive difference that football and community partnerships can make across Gloucestershire. For every £1 invested, the Trust delivered £32.51 of social value back into the community.
Austin Design Works
Congratulations to Rachael Austin of Austin Design Works, whose Artisan Woodland Craft Garden for Ruskin Mill Trust was awarded a Gold Medal at this year’s RHS Badminton. The garden also picked up the Best Artisan Award and was Highly Commended for Environmental Innovation.
i2i Recruitment
Congratulations to i2i Recruitment, which has become the Official Recruitment Partner of Gloucester Rugby. The new partnership brings together two organisations with strong Gloucestershire roots and a shared commitment to developing talent, supporting local businesses and creating opportunities across the county.
ITSA Digital Trust
ITSA Digital Trust has been demonstrating the power of sustainable IT and social impact following a donation of 355 surplus laptops from Stroud District Council. The laptops underwent secure data erasure and expert refurbishment before being donated to 31 Gloucestershire charities and their end users, as well as supporting students and schools in Africa. ITSA Digital Trust is now looking to partner with more organisations with unwanted working IT equipment, helping to give technology a second life while creating positive social impact.
Gloucestershire Responsible Business Accelerator
The Gloucestershire Responsible Business Accelerator is an eight-week, hands-on programme designed to help Gloucestershire businesses develop a practical sustainability roadmap, based around the globally recognised B Corp framework. Running from September to November, the programme combines expert guidance, peer learning and practical action planning, helping businesses identify opportunities for improvement and embed purpose, sustainability and responsibility into their strategy and operations.
Passion First Aid
Passion First Aid is highlighting the importance of recognising the signs of meningitis and having the confidence to act quickly when something doesn’t feel right. Their training helps teams recognise potentially serious symptoms and respond without hesitation – whether in schools, workplaces or care settings. As Passion First Aid puts it, training gives your team the confidence to recognise the signs and act when it matters most.
Eco Mirage
A major renewable energy project is underway at Rodney Parade, the home of Dragons RFC, with Gloucester-based Eco Mirage managing the delivery of a new solar and battery storage system. The project includes a 125kW solar PV system and 120kW battery storage setup, designed to help the stadium generate, store and manage its own clean electricity while reducing energy costs and its carbon footprint. The project is also supporting the regional economy, with more than 20 local workers involved in the installation. Once complete, the system will help power everything from floodlights to matchday operations – demonstrating how established sporting venues can embrace a more sustainable future.
